Departure from Tolo
We sail slowly near the seashore enjoying a panoramic view of Tolo and the little island, Koronisi, with the little white church on the top. Sailing towards Nafplion you can enjoy a lovely sunset. On your right you can see the church of St Nicholas, the seamen’s protector, and immediately after the long beach of Karathona. Arriving in Nafplio we see the premature byzantine fortifications and the majestic fort Palamidi, which was named after the son of the town’s founder, who was a scientist and a doctor at the Trojan war. Palamidi was built by the venetians in 1715, the year the greeks lost Nafplion from the turks. Just before approaching the city’s port, you can see the little church of Holy Mary and the small island Bourtzi, the venetian fort in front of the port. On the first walls of the city towards the sea you can still see 5 cannons that protected Nafplion and made every possible intruder think twice before entering the port. A big strong chain used to connect the 5 cannons with Bourtzi which was raised and fenced the port, and that is why the venetians called it Porto Cadena.

HOW TO REACH US
Αθήνα — Ναύπλιο — Τολό
- Με αυτοκίνητο: παίρνουμε την εθνική οδό Αθηνών – Κορίνθου (Ε94) μετά συνεχίζουμε στην εθνική οδό Κορίνθου – Τριπόλεως-Καλαμάτας (Ε 65), αφήνουμε την εθνική αμέσως 7 χιλ. μετά τα διόδια Σπαθοβουνιου , προς Μυκήνες Ναύπλιο. Συνεχίζουμε στον επαρχιακό δρόμο Κορίνθου – Άργους για λίγα χιλιόμετρα και στρίβουμε αριστερά στο νέο δρόμο προς Ναύπλιο. Διασχίζουμε τα χωριά Μηδέα και Αργολικό και φτάνουμε σε μια διασταύρωση που λέει αριστερά ΕΠΙΔΑΥΡΟΣ, λίγα χιλιόμετρα μετά συναντάμε ταμπέλες που μας οδηγούν κατ ευθεία στο Τολο ,χωρίς να χριαστη να περάσουμε μέσα από το Ναύπλιο .
- Λεωφορείο (www.ktel.org) : από τον Σταθμό υπεραστικών λεωφορείων Κηφισού παίρνουμε το λεωφορείο για Ναύπλιο (κάθε ώρα από το πρωί έως το βράδυ). Στο Ναύπλιο παίρνουμε το λεωφορείο για το Τολό (κάθε ώρα από το πρωί έως το βράδυ). Τηλέφωνα σταθμών λεωφορείων: Ναυπλίου 27520 27323 – Αθηνών 210 5124910 Πάτρα 2610 623886 – Κανάλι Κορίνθου 27410 48444
- Ταξί: Μπορείτε να σας κλείσουμε Ταξί που να σας μεταφέρει απευθείας στο ξενοδοχείο από το σπίτι σας και κοστίζει περίπου 130€
