One-day cruise with Pegasus Cruises. Departure from Tolo for the picturesque island of Hydra with its unique peculiarity: the absence of cars on the island and the beautiful island of Spetses with its many trees, bays and beaches.

IMPORTANT: Transfer booking is only valid if made by 21:00 the night before the cruise

Departure from Nafplion at 07.45, at the kiosk, at Navarchon Square 3, opposite the statue of Kapodistrias, just before the central bus station.

Return: the bus will wait for the passengers at the port of Tolo, the departure will take place immediately after the return of the ship to the port.

    Sailing towards Hydra, we sail around Argolis, the coasts of Porto Helios, the Spetses Strait and Ermionida.

    Arrival in Hydra

    For a 3-hour stay

    100 meters from the port on your left as you get off the ship you can install the Hydra Museum where there are exhibits from the era of the revolution and the Balkan Wars.
    You can visit the Metropolis, a large monastery in the center of the port dedicated to the Virgin Mary, which you will easily find from a tall bell tower clock. There is an ecclesiastical museum and the island's town hall.
    You can wander the stone cobblestone streets to see the three-story mansions of the captains of the revolution, take a short ride with the donkeys and take nice photos of the 2 cannons at the ends of the port.
    Near Pavlos Kountouriotis' house is a bronze statue of a dolphin with a child on its back to commemorate the film that was filmed on the island in the 1950s, "The Child and the Dolphin," starring Sophia Loren.

    Starting for Spetses, we sail close to the island, admiring the wild nature. Soon the island of Spetses and Spetsopoula, the private island of Stavros Niarchos, come into view.

    For a 2-hour stay.

    Above the port is Dapia, the old gun emplacement of the island that hosts most of the cafes and is decorated with pebbles from the surrounding beaches.
    You can visit the mansion of Bouboulina at a distance of about 100 meters from the port. Near the mansion is the neoclassical building of the benefactor of the island, Sotiris Anargyros.
    In Poseidonio Square you can see the first hotel of the island built in 1897 and the statue of Bouboulina gazing at the sea.
    At 200 meters from the port is the sandy beach of Agios Mammas for a refreshing swim.
    600 meters from the port is the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, where the flag of the revolution was raised on the island, and where the film "Jenny Jenny" was filmed, specifically the wedding scene (the classic Mantas and Gortsos).
    About a kilometer away, the old port hosts most of the island's mansions as well as the old shipyards where the ships of the revolution were built. Nearby is the island's large lighthouse and the statue of the arsonist Kosmas Barbatsis who set fire to the Turkish flagship in the naval battle of Spetses on September 8, 1822.
    You can visit the city on foot or by horse-drawn carriages that carry 4-5 people, their starting point is next to the port.
    Departing from Spetses we see the Anargyreio Korgialenio School, one of the many offerings of Anargyros on the island, and the rich pine forest that touches the blue waters.

How to reach us

From Athens -> Nafplio -> Tolo

By car: Go along the Athens – Corinth expressway (E94) or ATTIKI ODOS, continue on the Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata expressway (E65). Leave the expressway 7 km after the toll booth at Spathovouni, towards Mycenae, Nafplio. Continue on the Corinth – Argos provincial road for a few kilometers and then turn left onto the new road to Nafplio. Go straight for a few kilometers and then you will see a sign telling you to turn left towards Epidaurus. Continue on this road, the signs will lead you to Tolo without having to go through Nafplio.

By bus: (www.ktel.org) You can take a bus from Athens directly to Nafplio at the Intercity Bus Station on Kifissou Street. Departures every hour from early morning until late evening. When you arrive in Nafplio, take the local bus to Tolo (almost every hour from morning until evening)

From Patras

By car: Go along the Patras – Corinth expressway and then follow the Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata expressway (E65). ). Leave the expressway 7 km after the toll booths at Spathovouni, towards Mycenae, Nafplio. Continue on the provincial road Corinth – Argos for a few kilometers and then turn left onto the new road to Nafplio. Continue straight for a few kilometers and then you will see a sign telling you to turn left towards Epidaurus.
